The One That Needed Saving- Chapter 3 

Octavia P.O.V.

It has been about a week since I’ve moved in with the boys. To be honest I’ve been happy, they have really been making me feel wanted and safe again. I have not had any nightmares after my first night when Louis came and help me. Today was the day when my dad come back from his business trip, and most of all it’s my 18^th birthday. I just sat here in my bed thinking about how in this one week I became happy again and it was all because of the boys. Louis, and Harry have become my best friends, I spend most of my time with them. I have become close to the other boys are well, but Louis, Harry, and I were like the 3 musketeers.

Knock Knock

“Come in.” I yelled.

“Happy Birthday to you, happy birthday to you. Happy birthday dear otty. Happy Birthday to you, and many more.” All the boys sang to me was they walked in with a bottle of Vodka.

“Whats with the Vodka?” I asked

“Well seeing as its your 18^th birthday, and that means your legal here. We thought we would bring you alcohol in bed.” Louis said.

“Aww how thoughtful. Thank you boys.” I said smiling at them. “Well are you just going to stand there or join me?” I asked tapping the top of my bed motion them to sit down. Thats when I heard the door bell right.

“Oh that might be dad.” I said jumping out of bed running to the front door. To my surprise when I got to the front door the man standing outside was not my dad at all.

“Um how many I help you?” I asked.

“Are you Octavia Holdan?” The man asked.

“Yes that’s me.”

“This is for you. Have a nice day.” He said handing me an envelope.

The outside read To Octavia. In side there was a letter and 6 tickets of some sort. I first pulled out the letter and read it.

To Octavia,

Hey there darling. Happy 18^th Birthday baby girl.

I’m very sorry, but somethings came up that have to be taken care of for the boy’s tour coming up. So I won’t be able to make it back in time for your birthday.

I did get a reservation for you and the boys tonight at the Ivy at 8:30.

Also inside there are 6 plane tickets, to Spain. You leave tomorrow.

Simon is going to be gone that week, and said you and the boys can use the house.

Once again I’m very sorry I can’t be there. I love you baby girl, and will see you all when you get back from Spain next week. To cause too much trouble.

Really dad, you can’t even call and tell me your not going to be here? Well I guess I should have seen this one coming. Oh well I’m not going to let it ruin my day. One I get to eat at the Ivy tonight, I heard so many amazing things about it. Two I get to go to Spain for a week with my 5 best friends. I ran back upstair to see all the boys in the same spot and the Vodak half gone.

“Wow, thanks you saving me some.” I said to the boys, that caused them to turn and face me.

“Sorry love, who was at the door?” Zayn asked.

“Oh just the postman, but boys guess where we are going tomorrow?” I said waving the tickets in the air.

“Where, Where?” Harry asked like a little and ran over taking the tickets out of my hand. “No way really?” He added after he looked at the tickets.

“Where are we going?” Liam asked impatiently

I looked over to Harry and whispered “Count of three harry?” he nodded. I lifted my hand up and put three fingers up slowly putting one down at a time, when I put them all down Harry and I yelled “SPAIN!” at the same time. All the boys jumped up cheering.

“Oh and there is one more thing, I guess dad talked to Simon and he said we can stay at his house for the week are there.” I said with a smile.

“When do we leave” Louis asked.

“Tomorrow at 4am so you better get packing, oh and dad made a reservation for us at the Ivy tonight at 8:30.”

“Only one day to pack. Jay is killing me here.” Zayn said running out of the room to go pack.

“Well boys you might want to get packing, we can’t be late tomorrow.” I said smiling.

They all agreed and left the room except Louis. He could tell something was wrong.

“He is not coming is he?” He asked.

“No.” I said looking down at the ground.

“Don’t worry love, I’m here.” He said pulling me into a hug.

“How can I forget you never leave me alone.” I said laughing.

“Ouch, that hurt.” He said pretending his heart was broken.

“I was joking. You know I love you. Now go pack, God only knows how long its going to take you to find what TOMS your going to bring.” With my saying that he left the room. Now it was time to pack, I have no idea how I was going to get it all done in time.

I finally finished pack around 6:30, which gave me just enough time to get ready for dinner tonight. Before I went to go get ready, I went into the hall and yelled for the boys to start getting ready. They can take longer than me to get ready sometimes.

Louis P.O.V

“God Octavia we are going to be late if you don’t get your ass down here.” I yelled up the the stairs, and turned back to the boys. “She needs to learn how t..” I did not even get to finish my sentence before I saw all of the boys mouths drop. I turned around to see what they were looking at. That was I saw her and my mouth did the same thing, it just dropped. She looked gorgeous, she had did her hair into lose curls, he makeup was light but complimented her face in every way, and that dress I don’t even know how to explain how amazing she looked in it. It hugged her in all the right places, showing off her amazing body. I tired breaking the silence, but no words were coming out.

“Wow Otty you look amazing.” Zayn said walking over to her kissing her cheek.

Shit I wanted to be the one that said that. When he kissed her my heart dropped, why was I feeling like this? She was like my little sister.

“Thanks Zayn. Are you guys ready to go?” She asked, and we all walked out the door and into the car.

When we got there, there were so many paps, and fan. Why did they have to be here? We have been able to O out of the public eye, she does not need to the hate she will get from fans. Shit.

“Um guys, there are a lot of people out there.” She said worried.

“How did they know we were going to be here?” I asked.

“I tweet that I was going out for my birthday dinner with you guys, but I did not say where.” She said nervously.

“ I don’t think it was that, people just always seem to know where we are. I just hope it won’t be like that when we are in Spain.” I said.

“Okay well boys its now or never so lets go.” Liam said.

Octavia P.O.V.

When I saw how many people were out there I did not know what to do. I don’t think i’m ready for this, what if he sees me on TV or in a magazine. That means he will know where I am, and he can come get me. Hurt me.

“Louis I don’t know if I can do this. What if he finds me?” I asked him before I got out of the van.

“Don’t worry love, I won’t let me touch you. Here take my hand. We can do this together.” He took my hand and interlocked our finger. When he did this a shock went everywhere throughout my body. I looked up at him and I knew he felt it too. I knew I liked him when he came and comforted me that first night. Having this feeling when held my hand only proved my feeling for him.

“Ready?” He asked

“As I will ever be.” I said smiling at him. As I walked out of that van I knew something had changed between us. I just don’t know if it was a good thing or not.

“Louis who is that? Are you two dating?” “Is that Octavia your manager daughter? Whats going on between you two?” That all yelled at us.

How did they know so much about me? How did they know my name? Oh well I was not going to let this ruin my night. We rushed inside and sat down at our table, and order or food.

“Well I would like to make a toast to the amazing Octavia Holden. O you have been come someone very close to me, and I would not change it for the world. You are like our 6^th member of the band. I can’t wait for the many more years we all have together. Love you baby. To O.” Louis said raising his and taking a drink.

I don’t know why, but it brought tears to my eyes. I knew I was falling for him, and there was no stoping that.

“Lou, your making her cry.” Niall said.

“Aw baby, don’t cry i’m sorry.” Louis said.

“Please don’t be sorry, You just don’t know how happy you make me. I would be lost with you.” I said pulling Louis into a hug. That when he whispered something into my ear “You look gorgeous tonight.” he did not even know how many butterflies I got when he said that. I looked up to see all the guy exchanging weird looks. Harry looked right at me and gave me his we need to talk look. Shit what did I do?

“Anyways present time. This is from me and Niall ” Harry yelled as he handed me my present.

“ No you guys did not. I cannot take this, Its too much.” I said to them.

“Come on O you know you needed a new laptop, and I saw you eyeing that one so me and niall got it for you together.” Harry said.

“Thank you boys. I love it.” I said smiling at them.

“Okay my turn.” Zayn said handing me my gift.

“Oh my gosh Zayn it’s beautiful. How did you know?” I asked

“Oh well you have only been talking about it for the past week.” Zayn said jokingly.

“Oh I guess its my turn next.” Liam said as to passed my gift over to me.

“Maybe once or twice. Do you like it?” he asked.

“Louis.” I said.

“How did you find this?” I asked as a tear of happiness fell some my eye.

“I called your grandma, and we went I a hunt to find it.”

“Louis I can’t even begin to tell you how much this means to me. I thought it was lost forever.” I said hugging him tight.

“You know I would do anything for you.” He said kissing the top of my head. Thats when the food came thank god because I did not need to see the faces I knew Harry was giving me.

As soon as we got back to the house Harry pulled me aside.

“Okay so how long has it been?” He asked.

“How was has what been?” I asked even though I knew what he was talking about.

“How long has it been since you’ve been in love with Louis?”

“How did you know? Does he know?” I asked.

“No he does not know, but I’m starting to think that other boys are starting to find out.”

“Are you mad?”

“Why would I be mad? I want my two best friends to be happy. Are you going to do anything about it?” He asked.

“I don’t know. I don’t think he feels that same way.”

“You’re joking right? Have you seen the way he looks at you?”

“No.” I said. I really have not. I had no idea.

“O, he is crazy about you.”

Louis P.O.V.

“Hey Louis can you come over here for a second?” Zayn called over to me.

“Yeah whats up?” I asked.

“When did you fall for her?” He asked.

“What are you talking about?” I asked trying to sound like I did not know what he meant.

“You know just what I mean. That toast at dinner tonight, they way you look at her. How you smile when someone brings her up. I’m not blind. So when did you?”

“That first night when she had her nightmare. When she was crying in my arms, something happened and I just fell and I fell hard. I don’t know what to do Zayn.”

“You for her, fight for her. Someone like O you can’t just let slip threw your fingers.”

“What if you does not feel the same way? I can’t get my heart broken.”

“Louis did you not see the way she looked at you when you took her hand in the van. Her whole face lit up, and when you said that toast. She only talked to you not to any of us. Lou she is crazy about you. Go after her.” Zayn said.

“When we get to Spain i’m going to do everything I can to sweep her off her feet.” I said smiling. I’m going to make her mine.

“Thats my boy.” Zayn said smiling.
